Diddy Kong Racing is a kart racing adventure by Rare where Diddy Kong and friends race across an Overworld to defeat bosses and collect items using cars, planes, and hovercraft. BarrelPad integrates Golden Balloon as a native Diddy Kong Racing app for macOS, iPhone and iPad, with WebGPU/Metal rendering, mobile touch controls and user-supplied ROM loading.
Before you begin
For iPhone/iPad: Requires iOS or iPadOS 15 or later. Sideload the unsigned IPA and supply your own Diddy Kong Racing ROM via the Files app; a Metal-capable iPhone or iPad is required. Mac: a native Apple Silicon macOS game build is also available; use this project's Mac build/run instructions and supply your own game data.
